embrace is a movement to cultivate authentic community.

It’s something new – a commitment to meet once a month for a meal and guided conversation that goes deeper than our usual interactions. What will emerge when we gather intentionally to explore themes in our lives? Perhaps encouragement, love and more good deeds?

Hebrews 10:24-25

4 Questions + 8-12 People + 1 Simple Meal = ???

Embrace aims to cultivate authentic community.

By creating space in our own homes for conversation and a meal once a month with people we don’t know that well yet, we gain a unique opportunity to engage in real community. Real community matters to those who want to live life well. We need encouragement and to be spurred on to love and good deeds. (Check out Hebrews 10:24-25).

Embrace is a process that cultivates authentic community because it is simple, shared, and sincere.

Simple: 4 Questions, 8-12 people, 1 simple meal per month, different host each month

Shared: The content is the shared conversation and meal. Each member hosts, so nobody has to do it all and everybody gets to do some.

Sincere: It is what the people participating make it – being, relating, sharing.
