MEET OUR SPECIAL GUESTS
Commissioner Debi Bell is the Territorial President of Women’s Ministries USA Southern Territory. Discipled by her mother and grandmother, a friend introduced Commissioner to The Salvation Army when she was just eleven years old. As a young officer, she married now-Commissioner Don Bell. The couple have served in corps and administrative appointments in USA West, National Headquarters and New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory. An avid writer, Commissioner has published two books, Lyssa Lamb and The Lord is My Shepherd, Think, and many articles. She shares: “my gender specific title reminds me that one of my most important duties is to be an advocate for women and to help every woman I encounter to discover or develop her worth as a daughter of the King and a woman in ministry”
Colonel Janet Munn currently serves as the Training Principal at the College for Officer Training in New York. An officer in The Salvation Army for 28 years, Colonel has served locally in urban and suburban communities and abroad in leadership. She recently completed her Doctor of Ministry degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Transformational Leadership. Colonel describes the Bible as the most invigorating, disturbing and enlivening thing she has ever read. She endeavors to live in the light of it. The daughter of a disciple-making mother and Nazarene pastor-father, Colonel Munn is also the wife of Richard, an egalitarian husband. They are parents of two beloved young adults, Nealson and Lt. Olivia.
Lieutenant Olivia Munn-Shirsath is a corps officer, with her husband Pratik, at the Times Square Corps in midtown Manhattan. She has a passion for creative arts and urban ministry. Olivia has served in different locations in New York City since 2011 and her current corps has a theater ministry for performing artists.
Olivia’s first book, The Uprising: A Holy Revolution?, is about the radical notion that holiness is possible. She loves preaching, writing, cooking and trying new restaurants.
Lt. Heather Dolby and her husband Rob are Salvation Army Officers leading the Anderson Corps in South Carolina. Married for 11 years, they have three children they are raising in the fear and friendship of the Lord. The Dolbys met on the streets of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside while students at The War College. Heather’s deep love of the Lord Jesus Christ comes from personal experience of His profound love and mercy in her life. She knows the transformative power of God firsthand and is eager to see the rest of the world encounter God as well.
Lara Landon, born and raised in California, started piano lessons and songwriting early in life. The youngest of three daughters of Rozanne Haddad and the late Dr. Wisam Boulds Haddad, Lara was encouraged to pursue a music business degree at Belmont University in Nashville. She graduated from Belmont in 2008 and put out her first studio album in 2009 [Beloved, followed by Overcome (2012) and There Is Grace (2014) and two extended plays: Love/Majestic (2011) and Christmas (2012)]. When not on the road touring, Lara participates in the worship group at the Berry Street Corps in Nashville, TN.

NOTE: They will not be setting up a full store and will have limited merchandise – to guarantee you get what you want, order before the conference and they’ll bring the items TO you in Florida, and you won’t have to pay shipping!

Each division, as well as THQ, the EBC and ARC will be participating in the Marketplace of Ideas with informational booths, activities, and additional opportunities to shop!

NETWORKING MIXER
After the main meeting on Friday night, you’ll have the opportunity to mix and mingle with other women at the conference. Tables will be set up and labeled by interest group, offering you the chance to meet like-minded ladies and engage in conversation regarding your shared passions.

embrace LUNCH
Interested in sharing a meal and having guided conversation with some new faces Saturday? Save your spot in an embrace lunch group by signing up at registration on Friday! Once each group has been formed, your leader will text you with more information and ultimately, your group will head to a nearby restaurant together. If you’re interested in starting a type of ‘small group ministry’ at your corps, this will be a great opportunity to discover what embrace has to offer!
